School’s out for summer.
Well, nearly.
Kids across Dumfries and Galloway, including these youngsters at Springholm Primary, are counting down the hours until the start of the holidays.
And the waiting is almost over, with Monday the final day of term before the summer break.
They’ll be able to enjoy their freedom until the new school year starts on Wednesday, August 21 – although teachers return a few days earlier.
