A bakery is feeling a million dollars after tasting success.
Irvings Homestyle Bakery on the outskirts of Castle Douglas won the accolade for best individual cake at the Scottish Baker of the Year Awards.
Their delicious millionaire shortbread came out on top with the judges.
And they also took the bronze award for the Edinburgh, Lothians and Southern Scotland region with their raspberry and white chocolate oaties.
A spokesman for Irvings said: “We are absolutely thrilled with our award. It’s one thing to have confidence in our products, but to have that validation from both customers and industry experts is truly the icing on the cake.”
The winners were announced at a glittering ceremony in Glasgow, with nearly 600 entries from more than 60 bakers across Scotland.
Chief executive of Scottish Bakers, Lesley Cameron, said: “The level of competition this year was exceptionally high, making each win a significant accomplishment. Each entry was meticulously evaluated based on appearance, baking quality, and taste.”
