Tonight I want to introduce our amazing Elise!
I’ve enjoyed over two years working with this resilient, talented and hard working beaut and from the very start I knew this confident young woman was going to be unique and successful!
Elise joined the restaurant at a very young age of 14 but because she looks older, always presents herself in such a mature manner and is incredibly skillful, I’ve often forgotten how young she is and expected more than I should of her….but boy has she exceeded every challenge I have put her way!
Elise is a force not to be messed with and she can stand her ground. She’s such a diva and full of sass and I just love my shifts with her as she gives myself and the team great entertainment and actually keeps me on my toes!
I’m amazed at how super cool, calm and collected Elise is during a busy shift! She never loses focus at the job in hand and never drops her standards. Since she started Elise has developed fantastic communication and organisational skills juggling multiple tables demands at the same time.
Elise is straight to the door to welcome diners and on a few occasions I recall she’s had to deal with rude men who have cursed her because we’ve been fully booked and she was not able to seat them. She’s always managed such confrontation professionally even though I’d rather she report it to me so I can alleviate her from such incidents.
Always friendly, reliable, conscientious and such a key team player helping to train new staff….she’s just a gem 💎
I’ll finish with my admiration of her creative skills…. decorating coffees, desserts and ensuring birthdays etc receive that special touch ❤️
