We often attend an incident to assist Scottish Ambulance Service in gaining entry to a property, where there is a concern for someone’s welfare – possibly as a result of slips, trips and falls.
Our crews will offer a FREE Home Fire Safety Visit, and refer onto our partners who then work to prevent a re-occurrence.
THORNHILL were lucky enough to be offered a couple of old doors to practise forcible entry techniques. Being able to gain these skills in a calm learning environment is a fantastic opportunity for our firefighters in development.
