Comic-Con will be taking over Gretna’s Caledonia Park Designer Outlet tomorrow, Sunday and Monday.
From 10am to 5pm each day, BGCP Comic Con are back with the chance for all ages to meet and interact with iconic figures like Spiderman, Venom, Deadpool, Batman, Sonic and Knuckles, and Bluey.
The legendary Batman Vs Superman Batmobile – making its first appearance in Scotland – and the iconic Ghostbuster Ecto-1 car,which will also be appearing at the movie premier of the new Ghostbusters Frozen Empire film next month, will be on display.
For the younger attendees, free face painting will also be available.
There will also be the chance to dive into a nostalgic world of classic arcade games and browse a wide range of stalls and traders selling comics, fandom memorabilia and more.
Caledonia Park centre director, Scott Wells said: “The Comic-Con Takeover at Caledonia Park Designer Outlet has become a highly anticipated event in the region and we are thrilled to bring this fantastic experience back after the success of last year, providing a platform for fans of all ages to immerse themselves in the world of comics.”
Ian Bonar from BGCP Comic Con, added: “BGCP Comic Con are all hyped up to be returning to Caledonia Park for a second year which is set to be even more exciting than last year’s debut event with new traders, superheroes and cars.
“Last year saw people travel from all over the borders, Carlisle, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh so we’re hoping to see lots of returning faces as well as new ones.”
Times for meeting the characters are: 10.30am – 11am: Sonic and Knuckles; noon – 12.30pm: Deadpool and Venom; 1.30pm – 2.pm: Spider-Man and Batman; 3pm – 3.30pm: Bluey.
Admission and parking are both free.
