Palnackie Primary School pupils worked hard at the end of term to celebrate harvest and autumn.

The older pupils made some harvest art work, including autumn leaf wreaths and firework pictures, while the younger pupils made play dough hedgehogs with different numbers of spikes on them.

The junior road safety officers organised a poster competition to raise awareness of road safety when out and about in the village, as the nights get darker.

The whole school organised a harvest donation box for food packets, jars and cans, which have now been delivered to the village shop for the local community to help themselves to, free of charge.

They have well and truly earned their October holidays.
